Shelley Reis is a documentary fine art photographer and photography educator from Wollongong, Australia. Shelley’s work pays homage to the significance of childhood and the role it plays as the most important source of reference and reflection across an individual’s lifetime, by putting a hyper-real twist on the classic childhood snapshot.
In 2018, Shelley was was named among Australia’s Top 10 documentary photographers in Capture Magazine’s Top Emerging Photographer Awards, among the Top 11 female photographers on Instagram by Canon Australia and was listed in Clickin Moms Top 100 Photographers to Watch in 2018.
Her work has been published in The Huffington Post, Sydney Morning Herald, The Long Way Home magazine, Australian Photography magazine and Capture Magazine.
